Privacy policy

This website (eladguterman.com) shows the work of Elad Guterman, an artist living in Kibbutz Yiron, Israel. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: guterman17@gmail.com.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are viewed, but only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice. Until you accept, no Google Analytics code is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies:

  • _ga: distinguishes visitors; kept for up to 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID>: keeps the state of your visit; kept for up to 2 years.

Google Analytics receives information such as the pages you view, the time of the visit, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (derived from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses). Google may process this data on servers outside Israel, including in the United States. Advertising features are turned off.

The site also records two events: when the contact form is sent, and when an image is opened in a gallery (with the gallery name). They contain no personal details.

Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) so the notice is not shown again. You can change it at any time with the button below. Declining after accepting turns analytics off and deletes the Google Analytics cookies.

Contact form

When you send a message, the form sends your name, email address, subject, reason for inquiry and message by email to Elad Guterman. The email is delivered by Resend (resend.com), an email service based in the United States.

This information is used only to reply to you. It is not added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone else. The website itself does not store it; it is kept in Elad's email inbox for as long as the conversation needs it.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that messages are sent by people and not by automated programs. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and device and your IP address. Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy policy.

Hosting (Cloudflare)

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. This data is handled by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy.

Your rights and data requests

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information that was sent through this site, for example a message you sent through the contact form. Write to guterman17@gmail.com and you will get an answer within a reasonable time.

Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom also have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to their local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
